Stimulants are present in coffee.  Yes, this explains why coffee gives us a jolt of energy and a sense of renewed energy. To name a few, coffee contains caffeine, theophylline, and chlorogenic acid as stimulants. Caffeine, in particular, is the most prominent of these stimulants found in coffee.

A 2-month study found that coffee drinkers burned more calories at rest and during exercise. As a result, the effect may contribute to weight reduction.

Furthermore, it's been found that coffee has appetite-suppressing properties and may aid in weight loss. This experience is more noticeable if one drinks coffee 0.5–4 hours before a meal. It can lead to delayed stomach emptying and reduced hunger feelings, minimizing your inclination to consume extra calories. 

Yerba Mate

Yerba mate is a popular herbal tea in South America, traditionally prepared from the Ilex paraguariensis plant's leaves and twigs.

Caffeine-wise, one cup of yerba mate has 85 mg, less than coffee but more than tea. Therefore, it may help you feel more energized and less sluggish. As we know that caffeine enhances physical performance, yerba mate, having a moderate amount of caffeine, can provide similar effects.

One study found that people who took one capsule of ground yerba mate leaves before exercise (weighing in at 1 gram) burned 24% more fat than those who didn't take the supplement.

There is some evidence from research on animals that yerba mate can aid with weight loss by suppressing hunger and speeding up the metabolism. It may also help people burn more fat for fuel, according to clinical research.

Moreover, a 12-week trial found that obese participants who were given 3g of yerba mate powder each day lost an average of 1.5 pounds (0.7 kg). They dropped 2% of their body fat as measured by a decrease in their waistline.

Garcinia cambogia

Many people use dietary supplements containing Garcinia cambogia to help them shed extra pounds. It is extracted from a  known as the Malabar tamarind or Garcinia gummi-gutta. It resembles a miniature pumpkin and can be either yellow or green.

Some buyers mentioned experiencing adverse short-term and long-term effects from drinking Javita coffee. It includes acid reflux, stomach ache, palpitations, hypertension, and sleeplessness. These concerning effects may often occur when stimulant-containing beverages are consumed in large quantities. Some didn’t see the impact on weight loss.
